After many years of me chopping and changing my sitting room and kitchen and getting nowhere, my family decided to buy me a voucher for the services of Karen H Designs.
What a gift to get, it was the best thing ever, I used the voucher against my kitchen and my hall. When Karen arrived to the house she took lots of notes of our family lifestyle and managed to change my rooms around and to the delight of my family I had the spaces I had longed for, for years.
Artwork and my grandmother's leather chair never had a proper space and were relocated into the sitting room and now everything is in its right place, colours were used that I was always too afraid to use but with Karen 's 'great eye and fantastic design tips, like ( opening a door to the left rather than to the right ) were remarkable making me the envy of all my friends.
We would highly recommend you using her services ..you will not be disappointed but be prepared for change ( in a good way ). We enjoyed working with her so much she brings great fun to her job, and we missed her when she was gone.

I was turning 50, and had the privilege of being at many an event that Karen had organised, had seen her work behind the scenes as well as in the forefront, to deliver many a wonderful night, so I didn’t have to think twice about turning to her to organise my 50th birthday bash, and boy did she deliver !!!
From start to finish she was amazing, her ability to read my personality and capture the most tinniest of details was unique. I could say one word or thought and she could make a story out of it. From the invitations to the decor of the venue, choosing the venue, to the choice of music, it was all interlinked and very personal to me.
If you are lucky enough to secure Karen as your event planner, she will not disappoint, you can rest easily as your event will be like no other. Karen has a wealth of knowledge, contacts and experience and what’s more she is a wonderful, fun loving, genuine person and so easy to deal with.

Karen Healy of KHE, organised our wedding better than we had imagined it could ever have been. We had opted to have it in a converted barn, and Karen had to install everything to make it into a wedding wonderland. She created a great ambience with a lounge area, soft lighting and furniture, the tables glowed with elegant roses, softening gypsophila and garlands of crystal beads, set off with elegant candelabras, our magnificent church flowers display all done by Karen were outstanding and a pastry and sweet displays that looked like a work of art
Two of her great ideas were:
(1) she got some big windblown branches from her garden, painted them white and wrapped them around with tiny, flickering fairy lights and placed them along the whole length of the room which gave it an instant wonderland look.
(2) She then proceeded to wrap fairy lights together with ivy (she had pulled the ivy off a wall at her house) and draped them from the ceiling edges and connected them in the centre. This absolutely made the venue sparkly with a romantic feel and gave it a real fairy tale atmosphere.
She is a true professional and the venue list was endless but she managed the PA systems, transport, caterers etc. in the run up to the wedding and on the day. She is a fountain of ideas and helpful suggestions which I would never have thought of to ensure we had a beautiful magical day.
What sets Karen apart from other event coordinators is that she actually listens to what you envision for your wedding day and incorporates your ideas. We would not hesitate in recommending Karen to other couples, she ensured that we had the most enjoyable day possible and most importantly her energy and enthusiasm for her work make her a joy to be around. From sourcing vendors, finding competitive pricing, creating timelines, budgets, scripts, you name it, Karen had it covered. She has great interpersonal skills, oodles of energy that even rubbed off on us, flexible and problem solved when needed, a keen eye for detail, kept a check on our budget, truckloads of creative ideas and finally truly passionate and enthusiastic about event management.
During our wedding she kept a keen eye on us and checked constantly with us if we needed anything. She was cool under pressure and really made our whole wedding process and day delightful. I would gladly engage Karen again for any other event, as I truly believe you will have a great day out with Karen as your event manager.
